The mission of Powell Elementary School is to provide a safe, nurturing learning environment that holds high expectations for all students to become independent, responsible, life-long learners and productive citizens.


NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

The following items are required for registration for students new to Knox County Schools:
  • Certified birth certificate
  • Social security card
  • Proof of address (utility bill with your name and address)
  • Tennessee School Immunization and Physical Form (available from your doctor) - new immunizations are being required this year- check with your doctor
If you are moving to PES from another Knox County School, you will only need to bring proof of address in Powell Elementary School zone.  We will send for your child's records from the previous Knox County School.
